Dr. Aarohi Ambardekar has functioned as a physician anesthesiologist and partner at Southern Maryland Anesthesia Associates in Lanham since 2005. Beyond her work with patients prior to, during, and following surgical procedures that require anesthesia, Dr. Aarohi Ambardekar maintains memberships with professional organizations, such as the Maryland State Anesthesiology Association and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) will host the Anesthesia Quality Meeting 2019 between November 16 and 17 at ASA headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois. Following in the tradition of past quality meetings, the two-day event will consist of numerous solution-driven educational sessions. Sessions will focus on a number of pressing industry topics, such as how registries can be used to submit patient data while adhering to all quality measurement and benchmarking standards.
Additional topics at the 2019 ASA quality meeting will range from optimizing the continuum of care as a means of improving wraparound clinical processes to leveraging quality performance as a demonstration of value.
